This manual teaches both oral and written comprehension as well as the practice of the contemporary Burmese language. The vocabulary for each of the lessons is translated immediately after the Burmese texts, and grammatical notes contain the information necessary for a good knowledge of Burmese syntax. Exercises follow the lessons, with keys given at the end of the volume along with two glossaries, Burmese-French and French-Burmese. The book comes with two audio CDs.
