Based around eighteen texts and eighteen conversations, Volume 2 obeys the same principle as Volume 1 : to focus as little as possible on theory and instead draw practical connections to the Méthode de thaï (Thai Language Method) by Gilles Delouche. The texts in this volume are expressed in more formal language and are also repeated orally on the audio CD. Exercises deal with syntactical analysis and key words and their uses, and grammatical examples correspond to a more advanced level of understanding. The lexical entries explain the multiple nuances of each word, beyond their uses in the texts.
