Lise Pouchelon

Lise Pouchelon studied Japanese and Chinese at the universities of Lyon III and Aix-Marseille. After university exchanges in Japan and then in China, she undertook a master's degree in Chinese studies, writing a dissertation on a work by Taiwanese writer Lo Yi-chin entitled The Xixia Hotel. Now a doctoral student in Chinese language and literature at IrAsia (Asian Research Institute) of the University of Aix-Marseille, she is preparing a thesis under the supervision of Noël Dutrait on the translation of modern and contemporary Chinese literature into French.
