Olivier de Bernon is a Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Far Eastern Studies, Director of Studies at the French School of the Far East, where he has been running the Cambodia Manuscripts Publishing Fund (FEMC) since 1990. . Appointed general curator of heritage, he was president of the National Museum of Asian Arts Guimet from 2011 to 2013. His current work and his seminar at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) mainly focus on the early legal literature of the 'South East Asia. He is also Visiting Professor at King’s College London.
