Patrick Nardin

Patrick Nardin is a lecturer in visual arts at the University of Paris 8, artist and theorist. His plastic and theoretical work refers to the issues of the moving image in the field of contemporary art; his research concerns in particular obsolete or defective techniques and their confrontation with new media. He has published, among others, an essay entitled "Erase-Defair-Deregulate ...", preface by Pierre-Damien Huyghe (Harmattan, 2015). Patrick Nardin is also president and co-founder of the Contemporary Art Center Faux Mouvement in Metz.
