Through his skillful weaving of narrative, Meneses Lazón preserves his heroes' irrepressible individuality. His approach to the Quechua language is resolutely modern: he aims mainly to develop the expressiveness of the language. Thus, this small bilingual volume offers an experience that is not only literarily fulfilling, but also linguistically innovative.
