Méthode de malgache

(Malagasy method)

The Malagasy language is spoken in Madagascar by 20 million people. It is also spoken in the Comoros and Mayotte. In France, the Malagasy community has some 40,000 speakers. Malagasy presented in this method is the standard language. The book consists of twenty lessons, followed by two lexicons, Malagasy-French and French-Malagasy, and a thematic lexicon. It also includes annexes : conjugation tables, texts of oral literature, Malagasy national anthem, and corrected exercises and a bibliography. Many exercises accompany the first four parts of each lesson. The last three sections focus on the Malagasy culture.
