Gülay Hacer Toruk

Gülay Hacer Toruk, born in Istanbul, is a singer, songwriter, and composer. Drawing inspiration from her cultural heritage, she has developed an artistic world at the intersection of music, theater, and film. She regularly composes and lends her voice to stage and film productions, notably singing the song of Haydée in the film The Count of Monte Cristo (2024). Alongside her creative work, she shares Turkish vocal traditions through workshops and masterclasses at the Philharmonie de Paris. Her collaborations and projects trace an artistic journey nourished by her two languages, spanning eras, memories, and imaginations.
